Vacation Bible School volunteers needed - Below are the areas that we still need additional volunteers in our VBS.  The number in parentheses is how many more we need.  Please speak with, email, or call Anthony or Mark to let us know how you'll serve.  If you have already signed up, Thank You!!!

IMB Missionary Appointment Service - On Wednesday, May 23rd we are traveling to Brentwood to attend a commissioning service for newly appointed missionaries with our International Mission Board.  You will not have another opportunity to attend one of these services for a long time, as the IMB uses churches all over our country to host their missionary appointment services.  We will not be having services here at First Baptist on Wednesday.  We will be leaving the church parking lot at 5:00pm prompt.  Please let pastor Mark know if you are going.  Click here for a brief info spot on IMB website.


AWANA - A huge "Thank You" to everyone who volunteered and served in AWANA this year.  It was a great year and you have made an eternal impact.  In case you weren't there on Wednesday night for our end-of-the-year awards ceremony, I want to give you one number: 1,789.  That's how many total Bible verses were memorized by our kids this year.  That's Awesome!

 


True Gospel Sermon Series - Our sermon series from the book of Galatians continues this Sunday morning.  We'll be looking at Galatians 1:10 in a sermon called "God Pleasers"
